Start Point: |
Meet at 10-30. From Fuengirola take the A7 Malaga, go on the new bypass and take the 2nd exit A357 Campillos. Come off at the BP garage after junction 47. Take the road immediately just past the garage, and park near the trees just behind the BP garage. From Marbella take the A355 to Cartama then join the A357. Coffee and Aseos available at Garage. At 10.45 we will drive to the bridge to start the walk. | ||||

| We start the walk alongside the Rio Grande. We cross the river via a footbridge and continue alongside the river, past orange groves, and then turn away through a stand of canes, joining a dirt road which meanders thru the countryside past fincas and farms until we come to the main uphill section of the walk. This is not difficult or long and we shall take our time. We will walk along a ridge with Lovely views of Coin, Alora and Pizarra before we start our descent back to the river, through more orange groves then across the bridge and back to the cars. Anybody wanting to picnic after for lunch will need to bring chairs. | |||||
